What's the difference between the Quick Service and Table Service dining plans?
The Quick Service Dining Plan covers counter-service meals — think ordering at a register or kiosk, similar to fast-casual restaurants. The Table Service Dining Plan includes those plus sit-down restaurants with a dedicated server. Table Service credits are typically used at character dining experiences and signature restaurants.
How are my credits calculated?
Credits are based on your number of nights, not days. A 5-night stay earns 5 credits per person — not 6. Magic Dining Planner calculates this automatically when you enter your arrival and departure dates.
What counts as a snack credit vs. a meal credit?
Snack credits cover smaller items like Dole Whips, Mickey bars, popcorn, and food stand items. Quick Service and Table Service credits are used for full meals. The app labels every restaurant and item by type so you always know which credits apply.
Can I use this app without the Disney Dining Plan?
The app is designed specifically for guests on the Disney Dining Plan. If you don't have a dining plan, the credit tracking won't apply — but the restaurant directory is still a great reference for browsing dining options across all 4 parks and resorts.
Why can I only change my dates once on the single trip plan?
The Trip Pass is priced for a single Disney trip. The one-time date change is included as a courtesy for guests whose plans shift — things happen! If you need ongoing flexibility or manage trips regularly, the Travel Agent plan is built for that.
What's the difference between the Trip Pass and the Travel Agent plan?
The Trip Pass is for a single trip — you get full access to plan one Disney vacation. The Travel Agent plan is designed for Disney travel advisors who plan trips for multiple clients. It supports multiple trip profiles and doesn't expire between bookings.
Is the restaurant list kept up to date?
We do our best to keep the directory current as Disney adds, removes, and reclassifies restaurants. If you spot something that's out of date or missing, let us know.
What if I notice something missing or wrong?
We genuinely appreciate the heads up. Disney's dining landscape changes constantly and user reports help us keep the app accurate. and we'll get it sorted.
